Review of Two Energy Drinks from South Korea’s “No Brand”! A Satisfying Choice with Consumer-Friendly Prices and Ingredients

Review

Mid-September has come and gone, and the season when you can faintly smell the fragrance of osmanthus has arrived.
With some days being hot and others cold, it’s hard to stay healthy, and it’s a time when it’s somehow hard to get motivated.
There’s an energy drink from South Korea that’s perfect for times like these.
In this post, I’ll be reviewing “No Brandenergy drinks!

“No Brand,” the private label of emart —which operates supermarkets and convenience stores across South Korea—is built on the concept of low prices and high quality.

Now, “No Brand” has released two types of energy drinks!

I tried the "No Brand" energy drink!

Is there a difference in taste?
Saiga NAK

I’m going to try the “No Brand” energy drink and the “Energy Drink Zero.”
I’m excited to see what they taste like.

A vivid yellow!
Saiga NAK

When I open the energy drink, a sweet, melon-like aroma wafts out.
When I pour it, a vibrant golden-yellow drink appears.

A color similar to the packaging

On the other hand, the Energy Drink Zero gave off a crisp, soda-like scent.
It’s also white in color, so the impression is completely different.

I took a sip right away… The Energy Drink hits you with a powerful sweetness, followed by a slightly green, melon-like flavor.
It has a slightly different taste from your typical energy drink.

As the name “Citrus Flavor” suggests, the Energy Drink Zero is less sweet and easy to drink!
It has a cider-like quality that’s familiar to Japanese people.

It’s great that there are two varieties to choose from to suit your taste.

"No Brand" energy drinks are currently sold mainly in South Korea.
The price per bottle is a surprising 780 won (about 90 yen)!
Be sure to pick one up if you’re visiting the country on vacation or for other reasons.
