Riot Games to Launch 2XKO JAPAN SERIES 2026 on February 21! Official Japanese Tournament for 2v2 Fighting Game 2XKO Features Over 100,000 USD Total Prize Pool

Riot Games, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as Riot Games) will host the official Japanese tournament 2XKO JAPAN SERIES 2026 for the free-to-play 2v2 team-based fighting game 2XKO starting Saturday, February 21, 2026.
This tournament is a year-round competitive program, serving as the stage where players in Japan compete for the title of the strongest in the country.

Official Japanese Tournament 2XKO JAPAN SERIES 2026 for 2XKO Starts February 21

Riot Games has announced that it will host 2XKO JAPAN SERIES 2026 starting Saturday, February 21, 2026.
This is an official tournament series open exclusively to players from the Japan region.
A battle for the title of the best in Japan will unfold in the fighting game 2XKO.

Tournament Format Revealed

The tournament begins with the Cup Open Qualifier, an online qualifier open to all players.
The top 8 players who advance will move on to the Cup Top 8, which will be held at an offline venue.

The series is divided into Summer and Winter seasons, and players will accumulate Cup Points earned in each tournament throughout the year.
A total of 16 players will compete to be number one in Japan during the two-day main tournament. The finalists will be determined by several pathways, including:

• Four Cup winners, the top four from the Cup Points Ranking, and four invited players will participate in the Summer Finals and Winter Finals, which serve as the season finales.
• Four survivors from the Last Chance Qualifier, a repechage round for players ranked 5th to 12th in the point standings for each season, will also advance to the main tournament.

The total prize pools for each tournament are as follows:

• Total prize pool for each Cup: 10,000 USD
• Total prize pool for each Finals: 25,000 USD
