YAMADA Holdings, Inc., headquartered in Takasaki City, Gunma Prefecture, announces the " 9th YAMADA Cup eSports Tournament " using the MMORPG "Final Fantasy XIV" developed and operated by Square Enix, Inc. Final Fantasy XIV", an MMORPG developed and managed by Enix, Inc.
This will be the first YAMADA Cup eSports tournament using MMORPG, and will be held using Final Fantasy XIV's "Crystal Conflict" content!
The 9th YAMADA Cup eSports Tournament Final Fantasy XIV Division Act.1 is now open!
The tournament will be held on Sunday, December 25, 2022 and will be streamed on the official YAMADA Cup eSports tournament YouTube channel.
Please note that applications to participate in this tournament are only accepted via the entry form, and are not accepted at stores, by phone, or by e-mail. Anyone who lives in Japan and can participate in the tournament online from Japan is eligible to participate.
The entry period is until 23:59 on December 20, 2022 (Tuesday), and up to 64 teams can participate. In case of oversubscription, entries will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, so those wishing to enter should apply as soon as possible!If you know your stuff, submit your entry via the entry form!
The tournament will be held using Final Fantasy XIV's PvP content "Crystal Conflict" and will be conducted in a single elimination format. The top teams will be awarded with gaming devices and other great prizes, so why don't you enter the competition?
