EVO Japan 2024 presented by ROHTO, one of Japan's largest fighting game festivals, was held from Friday, April 27 to Monday, April 29, 2024.
This time, we will bring you a photo report of the Capcom, Bushiroad Games, and SNK booths!
Capcom Booth
The Capcom booth held a Street Fighter 6 Win-a-Row Challenge.
Visitors played best-of-three matches against each other, and as long as they kept winning, they could continue playing.
In addition to receiving a Special Sticker for every match played, those who achieved a 5-game winning streak were presented with an Akuma Special T-shirt.
Another battle unfolded behind the scenes of the main tournament.
The event was very exciting, with some players even achieving 5-game winning streaks using Ryu, who is said to be disadvantaged.
Street Fighter 6 Type Arcade Booth
A Street Fighter 6 Type Arcade booth was also set up separately from the Capcom booth.
With home console games rising to prominence, it is great to see them answering the call of those who say, "Fighting games have to be played at the arcade!"
You can search for participating arcade locations on the “Street Fighter 6 Type Arcade Special Page.”
Bushiroad Games Booth
Bushiroad Games announced HUNTER×HUNTER NEN×IMPACT.
It is attracting a lot of attention as the first full-scale fighting game based on Hunter x Hunter.
At the Bushiroad Games booth, visitors could try out a demo with six playable characters.
Perhaps due to the popularity of Hunter x Hunter, many small children and women were also seen.
The booth also held a raffle that visitors could enter just by following the official X account (@hunterNI_games).
With a very high probability of winning a special T-shirt, it was crowded every day.
SNK Booth
While the THE KING OF FIGHTERS XV main tournament was heating up, demo stations for the latest title, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, were set up at the SNK booth.
