EVO Japan 2024 SNK Booth Information Released! Fatal Fury: CotW Playable Demo & Appearance of Enako and Aki in Cosplay!

The largest fighting game festival in Japan, EVO Japan 2024, will be held at Ariake GYM-EX from Saturday, April 27, 2024, to Monday, April 29, 2024.
Starting this year, both admission and participation will require a fee for all days (ticket sales have already ended), so expectations are high for a high-quality event.
As you all know, EVO Japan 2024 is an event where you can enjoy yourself no matter where you look in the venue, not to mention the main tournaments, and as the event approaches, companies exhibiting booths are releasing details one after another.
It was previously announced that SNK would also have a booth exhibit, as THE KING OF FIGHTERS XV (hereinafter KOF XV) has been selected as a main tournament title, and those details have now been made public!

First Playable Demo of Fatal Fury: CotW!

The highlight of the SNK booth exhibit this time is surely the first-ever playable demo of the long-awaited latest entry in the series, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves (hereinafter Fatal Fury: CotW)!
This is your chance to be among the first to experience a Fatal Fury that has evolved in every way, with the new REV System battle system, a unique Art Style that stimulates the senses, and two play styles—Arcade Style and Smart Style—that can be enjoyed by everyone from beginners to experts!
The trial time will be a generous 25 minutes per person, though it is noted that play may not be possible during periods of heavy congestion.
Since Fatal Fury: CotW is already garnering high attention, it might be a good idea to head straight to the SNK booth as soon as you arrive at the venue.

Additionally, if you answer a survey after playing Fatal Fury: CotW, you will receive an original tote bag! How generous!
Most people who enjoy the demo will likely want to share their thoughts, and if that gets you a tote bag, there's no reason not to answer the survey, right?
The gift will be given by presenting the completion screen to the reception staff, so don't forget to participate in the survey after your trial!

Enako and Aki to Appear in Cosplay!

On the second day of the event, Sunday, April 28, 2024, it has been decided that popular cosplayer Enako and popular model Aki will appear in character cosplay from Fatal Fury: CotW!
Enako will be cosplaying as Hotaru Futaba and Aki will be cosplaying as Terry Bogard. They will appear not only at the SNK booth but also on the SNK presents "Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves" Cosplay Stage!
The SNK presents "Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves" Cosplay Stage will be held on Sunday, April 28, 2024, from 10:30 AM at the EVO Japan 2024 Sub Stage, though event content may be subject to change in case of congestion.
Since Enako and Aki are appearing, crowds are inevitable, so those who want to watch should probably head to the sub stage as early as possible.

Furthermore! It has also been decided that a photo session with Enako and Aki will be held at the photo spot within the SNK booth!
Enako's sessions will be held three times on Sunday, April 28, 2024, at 1:30 PM, 2:00 PM, and 2:30 PM. Numbered tickets will be distributed at the SNK booth photo spot from 8:30 AM on the day.
Distribution is limited to the first 90 people and will end as soon as the tickets are gone.
People without a numbered ticket cannot participate in the photo session, so those who want to capture Enako's Hotaru Futaba should go to the SNK booth first thing in the morning!
Aki's sessions will be held three times on Sunday, April 28, 2024, at 9:30 AM, 3:00 PM, and 4:00 PM.

If you post a photo taken at the SNK booth photo spot to X with the hashtag #CotW, you will receive a Fatal Fury: CotW file folder!
You can receive it on the spot by presenting the posted screen to the reception staff, but quantities are limited, so head straight to the photo spot when you visit the SNK booth!

New Information on KOF XV Also Released!

Fatal Fury: CotW is important, of course, but the centerpiece of EVO Japan 2024 is the main tournament for KOF XV.
Ahead of the inevitably fierce KOF XV battles at EVO Japan 2024, it has been decided that the SNK fighting game world tournament SNK World Championship 2025 (hereinafter SWC 2025) will be held in early 2025!
The reason for this timing is that the winner of the KOF XV tournament at EVO Japan 2024 will be invited to SWC 2025!
All participants are surely aiming for the top, but let's aim for victory to secure the earliest possible ticket to SWC 2025!
Details of SWC 2025 will be announced at a later date.

Additionally, all players who participated in the KOF XV tournament at EVO Japan 2024 will receive a KOF XV Original T-shirt!
The gift will be given upon presenting your KOF XV entry pass at the SNK booth reception, and the distribution date will be the first day of the event, Saturday, April 27, 2024.
