Raiatto Games has released a number of game titles with countless players around the world, including "League of Legends."
In May 2020, the new strategy card game "Legend of Runeterra" was officially released, and the game has been getting a lot of attention.
Details of the first official domestic tournament "MIND MASTERS 2020" for the newly released "Legend of Runeterra" and the popular strategy game "Teamfight Tactics" also by Raiatto Games have been announced! The prize money will be a whopping 1,000 yen!
The total prize money is 10 million JPY! (*$93,292.2 USD)
"MIND MASTERS 2020" will be hosted by Raiatto Games, LLC and managed by Yoshimoto Kogyo, NTT Plala, and Playbrain.
This is an open tournament for all Japanese players aged 13 or older who play "Legend of Runeterra" and "Teamfight Tactics".
The total prize money for the tournament will be a whopping \10 million JPY (*$93,292.2 USD) (courtesy of NTT Plala), with the highest prize being \5 million JPY (*$46,646.1 USD) for the winner of the "Legends of Runeterra" category!
Tournament entries will be accepted from Friday, May 22, 2020 to Friday, May 29, 2020, with online qualifying taking place from June to July.
The final of the "Legend of Runeterra" division will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2020 and the final of the "Team Fight Tactics" division on Sunday, August 9, 2020 at Yoshimoto-Infinity Hall.
The winner of the "Teamfight Tactics" division will receive cash prizes as well as the opportunity to represent Japan in the international "Galaxy Championships.
