Puyopuyo " is an e-sports licensed title and a falling action puzzle game loved by people of all ages.
The popularity of this game has not waned in the 31 years since the first version was released in October 1991, and in recent years it has become a hot e-sports title as well.
SEGA's official professional tournament for Puyopuyo, the " Puyopuyo Championship SEASON 5 STAGE 2 Final Tournament," was held on Sunday, July 17, 2022, at Tokyo Joypolis, an indoor theme park in Daiba, Tokyo. The winner of the tournament was awarded a prize of 100 million yen.

Tomokun was the champion of "Puyopuyo Finals SEASON 2" and "GigaCrysta Presents Puyopuyo Finals SEASON 4" and is the only player who has won the Finals multiple times.

This was the first time in two and a half years that the tournament was open to the public, and 100 fans came to the venue to show their support.
In the final, Tomo-kun will be facing Setanagi(@setanagi), a member of the multi-gaming team SIRIUSGAMING (@SIRIUSprogaming).
In this tournament, the winner is the player who wins two sets of five games in one set.
In the first set, both players shot each other with a big chain, and Tomo-kun won 5-1.
However, in the second set, Setanagi switched to a quick attack strategy, including a double double in the second set, and took the set 0-5.
In the third and final set, Setanagi won a huge chain of games against Tomo-kun, and then Tomo-kun won a round with a fast attack strategy, and the two players battled back and forth until the full count was 4-4!
