RAGE " is one of the largest e-sports events in Japan, jointly run by CyberZ, Avex Entertainment, and TV Asahi.
The RAGE-sponsored tournaments are all a great success, but it is no exaggeration to say that the most exciting of all is Cygames' Shadowverse, a full-fledged smartphone card battle tournament.
The number of participants has been increasing every year, and the event has become an event where a tremendous number of players gather in one place.
In anticipation of the ever-increasing number of participants, we have decided to challenge a certain Guinness World Record at the " RAGE Shadowverse 2020 Spring Battle Festival powered by SHARP " to be held on Saturday, January 25 and Sunday, January 26!

The Guinness World Record we are challenging this time is "Most people locally playing an online trading card game simultaneously"! The Guinness World Record will be "Most people locally playing an online trading card game simultaneously".
The "RAGE Shadowverse" qualifying tournaments have been held several times with more than 6,000 people participating, as overseas participation has been possible since 2019.
The "RAGE Shadowverse 2020 Spring Battle Festival powered by SHARP" will challenge the Guinness World Record for the largest number of entries ever, reaching 10,000, as junior high school students are now allowed to participate*. The number of entries reached 10,000, the largest ever, and the event decided to challenge Guinness World Records.
Will the unprecedented challenge of 10,000 players playing the same game at the same venue be successfully accomplished? And who will be the top 10,000 players? We can't take our eyes off of them!
The Guinness World Record attempt will be made on Saturday, January 25, the first day of the preliminary competition.

(*)If you are under 18 years old at the time of entry to the Preliminary Round (on the day of Day 1 of the Preliminary Round), please submit a parental participation agreement and documents confirming the account for prize money transfer (in the participant's name only) with all signatures and seals intact when completing the entry procedures for this competition. The "RAGE Shadowverse 2020 Spring Battle Festival powered by SHARP" Qualifying Tournament will be held on January 25th (Sat) and 26th (Sun) at Makuhari Messe Halls 7 and 8 in Chiba Prefecture!
