Splatoon Koshien 2023, the first official national Splatoon 3 tournament, will be held this year. This time, there will be two divisions, a general team division and an elementary school student team division, which is sure to be even more exciting! The preliminary rounds will be held at regional and online tournaments in five cities, and the best player in Japan will be decided at the national finals to be held on December 16 and 17, 2023.
The first official "Splatoon 3" tournament
Qualifying rounds will be held in regional andonline tournaments in five cities across Japan to determine the representative of each tournament. The top of Navaravari Battle will be decided at the national finals to be held in December 2023! For the first time in the tournament, there will be two divisions : a general team division with no age limit , and anelementary school team division for elementary school students and younger only (elementary school students and younger after April 2023). All matches will be broadcast live on YouTube Live and Nico Nico Live, so even those who do not enter the tournament are welcome to watch.
Tournament Details
Those who wish to participate in the tournament must apply in advance as a team of four. If there are too many applicants, a drawing will be held. Those wishing to watch the competition must also apply in advance, with the exception of the Kanto regional competition. Advance application is not required for the Kanto Region Tournament, but you will need to purchase an admission ticket to "Nico Nico Cho-Kaigi 2023".

Nintendo Switch Pro Controller (wired connection) *The tournament office will provide this controller, so there is no need to bring it on the day of the tournament.
I am also interested in the stages to be used in the tournament. The stages for all regional tournaments will be chosen at random from a total of seven stages, including the five stages common to all regional tournaments: the Unohana Valley, Gonzui District, Yagara Market, Mategai Spillway, and Namelou Metal, plus two stages that differ for each regional tournament (to be announced at the start of each regional tournament's application period)!
