Universal Studios Japan (USJ) has announced a new attraction based on the world-famous " Demon Slayer! Two coasters will be available for a limited time starting in July 2024.
Two completely new "Demon Slayer" themed attractions are coming soon!
USJ is currently reviving "Demon Slayer XR Ride: Infinite Train of Dreams," which recorded a 99% satisfaction rate, until June 9, 2024 (Sunday). The completely new "Demon Slayer" attraction that captivates men and women of all ages will finally make its debut.
PR TIMESUSJ has announced two new attractions: the VR coaster "Demon Slayer XR Ride - Ride through the Village of the Swordsmith" and the story coaster "Demon Slayer: Pillar Training Edition x Hollywood Dream the Ride." The event is scheduled to run from Friday, July 19, 2024 to Sunday, January 5, 2025.
"Demon Slayer XR Ride - Ride through the village of swordsmiths" will take you through a village of swordsmiths that has been attacked by demons in order to deliver a new sword to Sumijiro. In the 360-degree world of Demon Slayer, you can get up close and personal with Toki Toru Muichiro and Mitsuri Kanroji as they battle with Tamatsubo and Hantengu.
"Demon Slayer: Pillar Training x Hollywood Dream the Ride" is an attraction based on the TV anime "Demon Slayer" Pillar Training, which began airing on April 12, 2024 (Sunday) on Fuji TV. Guests will challenge the Pillar Practice as rookie members of the Demon Slayer team with other Pillar Slayers such as Jitsuya Shinigawa, Iburo Kohanai, and Gyomei Kannyo. The realistic voices of the characters echoing in your ears as they run around the park's skies will also be a highlight.
"Demon Slayer Pillar Rehearsal x Hollywood Dream the Ride" will run from Friday, July 19, 2024 to Monday, October 7, 2024. The second part will run from Tuesday, October 8, 2024 to Sunday, January 5, 2025. Each will have a different theme and different characters, so you will want to experience both.
New collaborative goods and restaurants will also be available.
On July 18, 2024 (Thursday), "Sumijiro's Hyotan Popcorn Bucket - Mitarashi Flavor" featuring the "gourd" motif will be available for purchase, and on the following day, July 19, 2024 (Friday), a second A second collaboration restaurant will also be held on the following day, Friday, July 19, 2024.
