HIKKY Co. Ltd. announced that they will hold Virtual Market 2024 Summer from Saturday, July 20 to Sunday, August 4, 2024.
With Boundless! as the theme for this event, three cities—Osaka, Dubai, and Yokohama—are scheduled to be developed as Parareal corporate exhibition VR venues.
Parareal is a coined term combining "parallel world" and "real," and Osaka, which also appeared in Virtual Market 2022 Summer, will be renewed as a completely new city with a futuristic feel.
Furthermore, real-life events are scheduled to be held at three venues including a regional venue in addition to Akihabara and Shibuya.
The long-awaited implementation outside of Tokyo is coming to fruition, but details regarding the regional venue are unknown at this point.
