KRAFTON announced that a live-action drama series based on the battle royale game PUBG is currently in development and production at Netflix.
Donald Glover will direct, write, executive produce, and star in the project.

PUBG is KRAFTON's best-selling title that popularized the battle royale genre across the globe.
Holding seven Guinness World Records, it stands as a global cultural icon and one of gaming's most enduring franchises.
Donald Glover (@donaldglover), who will direct and star in the live-action drama, is well known for acclaimed productions such as Atlanta and Community, having won two Primetime Emmy Awards and a Golden Globe Award.
Stephen Glover joins the series as a writer and executive producer.
Additionally, Michael Schaefer from NEON TV, Fam Udeorji from Gilga, and Taeseok Jang and Sujin Lee from KRAFTON's LV3H also serve as executive producers.
KRAFTON is currently expanding the PUBG franchise into original entertainment media.
The planning, development, and production of the series will be led by LV3H, the company's dedicated entertainment division.
