Japan’s National Esports Team for the 20th Asian Games Has Been Officially Announced! TEAM JAPAN Will Compete in 13 Titles Across 11 Disciplines

The Japan e-Sports Association ( JESU ) announced that the 29 members of the Japanese national team competing in the e-sports events at the 20th Asian Games have been officially selected.
The 20th Asian Games, to be held in Nagoya over a 10-day period from Wednesday, September 23, 2026, to Friday, October 2, 2026, will feature esports competitions in 11 disciplines and 13 titles.




Japan’s National Team for the 20th Asian Games Esports Competition Officially Announced! TEAM JAPAN Consists of 29 Members



JESU selected candidates for the Japanese national team for the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games and recommended them to the Japan Olympic Committee (JOC), a public interest incorporated foundation.
With the certification process now complete, JESU officially announced the roster of participating athletes on Wednesday, July 15, 2026.
TEAM JAPAN for this tournament consists of 25 Japanese national team athletes and 4 coaches.
