Nintendo Co., Ltd. announced that the release date for the Nintendo Switch 2 software "Drag x Drive (pronounced “Drag and Drive”)" has been set for Thursday, August 14, 2025.
Pre-orders began on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, and this software will only be available as a download version.
A Sports Game That Fully Utilizes Nintendo Switch 2's Mouse Controls
"Drag x Drive" is a sports game, similar to wheelchair basketball, played with the Nintendo Switch 2's mouse controls.
By holding both Joy-Con 2 controllers and sliding them like a mouse, you can freely control the two wheels.
If you swing one hand forward while holding the ball, you throw the ball and shoot for the goal!
Its appeal lies in its easy-to-learn controls, which anyone can intuitively enjoy.
Matches are played with a team of three, and the team that scores more points in the 3-minute match wins.
It also supports online play, allowing you to easily enjoy matches with friends and players worldwide.
Coinciding with the release date announcement, footage has been released showing those who played "Drag x Drive" at the "Nintendo Switch 2 Experience Event" held recently in various countries.
