Santa Monica Studio has announced that the release date for " God of War: Loki," the latest installment in the " God of War " series, has been postponed to Thursday, May 20, 2027.
Originally scheduled for release on Tuesday, February 16, 2027, the release has been pushed back by about three months.
The studio cited the need to polish the final details as the reason for the delay.

This announcement comes despite pre-orders already being open and the release date having previously been set for Tuesday, February 16, 2027.
The reason for the delay is to make the most of the time remaining before launch and refine the game’s final touches.
