The "ELF-MN1" incorporates Sony’s proprietary technology that generates stereoscopic images in real time based on the viewer’s position.
By adding an IR sensor to the conventional gaze-tracking sensor, it accurately detects the position of the eyes even in dark environments.
Equipped with a high-resolution display boasting 403 ppi —the highest among Sony’s spatial reproduction displays—it delivers stereoscopic viewing with minimal image blurring or ghosting.

It also features a simple design with an acrylic stand.
The boundary between the screen and the desk is barely noticeable, creating the illusion that the displayed characters and objects blend seamlessly into the surrounding space.

I believe that, combined with Sony’s technology, the vision we’re pursuing—a “daily life where your favorite character is right by your side”—will become even more natural and accessible.
I look forward to seeing this new viewing experience reach fans who love a wide variety of characters.”

Comment from VoxelKei (Spatial Content Creator)

While digital spatial representations using techniques like 3D Gaussian Splatting are incredibly compelling, the limited means of delivering three-dimensional objects to people in their original form has been a source of frustration.
"ELF-MN1" makes such spatial representations something that "is always there."
Given its compact size, I’m looking forward to seeing many people create their own personal spaces right on their desks.
