Nintendo announced that it will add Luigi's Mansion to Nintendo GameCube Nintendo Classics on Thursday, October 30, 2025.
The Nintendo GameCube Nintendo Classics requires a subscription to the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack and can only be played on Nintendo Switch 2.
Luigi's Mansion Added to Nintendo GameCube Nintendo Classics!
Luigi's Mansion is an action-adventure game for the Nintendo GameCube that was released in 2001.
One day, Luigi received a notice stating that he won a big mansion, and he headed the site after inviting Mario to join him.
However, while searching for Mario, who was supposed to have arrived first, he was suddenly attacked by a ghost.
He was rescued in the nick of time by Professor E. Gadd and was informed that Mario had been missing since entering the mansion.
Luigi, having received the Poltergust and the Game Boy Horror from the Professor, began exploring the mansion to find Mario.
The basic controls involve startling ghosts with the light of the flashlight and sucking them up with the Poltergust.
By quickly pulling the control stick in the opposite direction of the escaping ghost, players can successfully suck it up.
Will Luigi be able to safely rescue Mario from the spooky mansion...?!
Membership for the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack starts at 4,900 yen (including tax) for 12 months.
The Nintendo GameCube Nintendo Classics can only be played on Nintendo Switch 2.
