News

At the time of this writing, it is the last week of March 2024. The new school year will begin in April when the week opens. Since this is the time of the year, those of you who will be entering a new environment in April, either for higher education or employment, have probably already moved to a new house or other place of residence. After the rush of moving is over and the time before school or work begins, you may feel homesick, but the best thing to do at such times is to immerse yourself in what you love. And the one thing we can immerse ourselves in is games! In my parents' house, I used to get in trouble for playing games late at night, but now that I live alone, I can do whatever I want! However, living alone, you can do as much as you want...but it is common for this to disrupt the rhythm of your life and cause you to lose your health. Try to exercise self-control. However, it is true that you will have more free time to play games, so you will be able to play a lot of titles, and it is a good opportunity to start playing titles that you have not been able to get your hands on before. The world of retro gaming is full of masterpieces, not to mention the latest games. And speaking of retro games, we are in the midst of the 40th anniversary of the NES. Among the various projects being planned, the latest installment of the monthly treat " Famicom Talk Shop: Kobayashi-Toy Store " is scheduled to premiere on March 28, 2024 (Thursday) at 20:00, and the weekly treat is the " Famicom People's Choice Poll. The 36th "Farewell" contest will be held on March 28, 2012 at 8:00pm! The results of the 36th "What do you think of Farewell? The results of the 36th "Farewell" poll have been announced!

The results of the 36th "NES People's Poll" on "What do you think of 'Farewell'? The results of the "Famicom National Poll" have been announced, and the top 20 are now available on the Famicom 40th Anniversary Campaign website! This is a very timely topic for those of you who will be entering a new environment this spring, as I am sure you have gone through various "goodbyes. Since "goodbye" scenes are often a major turning point in a work of art, many of them are quite memorable, and " Final Fantasy II " took first place with 22% of the votes! The second place went to " Dragon Quest III: And to the Legend " with 13.7% of the votes, and the third place went to " Dragon Quest IV: The Fellowship of the S aved", which I also voted for, with 9.5% of the votes. The top 20 games also included RPGs and simulations! Many of the titles in the top 20 are RPGs, simulations, and other narrative genres, but as mentioned above, the "farewell" scene is often a major turning point in the story. Therefore, it would be a spoiler for those of you who have not yet played the game if I explain what it is like here. It would be a spoiler for those who have not played the game yet! There is a trap! For those who have already played many of the titles on the list, the "farewell" scene will come into play as you play more and more of the titles, so I won't say too much about it this time! Even if it is difficult to play the original version on the NES, there are many titles that can be played on the latest hardware or remakes are available, so if you are interested in playing them, please do so! You will be glad you did! Personally, however, I would like you to play the NES version of "Dragon Quest IV: The Leading Men".
