The results of the 44th "NES People's Poll" "What do you think of racing games? The results of the "44th NES National Poll" have been announced, and the top 20 are now available on the NES 40th Anniversary Campaign website! Racing games are one of the most popular game genres that continue to this day, and although today's games attract attention for their graphics that look as if they are live-action, it is the game aspect of the game that makes them so popular. Looking at the titles ranked in the list, many of the pioneers of "racing game" gameplay are on the list. The ranking was a dead heat, just like the "racing game" genre, but the top two were the most dominant, with " F1 Race " in first place with 25.3% of the vote, followed by "Excitement" in second place with 25. 3%! Excitebike " came in second with 21% of the vote! The third place game, " NES Grand Prix F1 Race " received 6.6% of the votes, making it the top two by a wide margin. F1 Race" was played from the rear viewpoint, "Excitebike" from the side viewpoint, and "NES Grand Prix F1 Race" from a bird's eye viewpoint. It can be said that these three games alone encompass all the major "racing game" features, so it is not surprising that these three games alone received more than half of the total votes. The game I voted for, " Wai Wai World 2 SOS! Parsley Castle," which I voted for, was ranked 28th. Similarly, there were votes for games with a "racing game" element in the game, such as " Sanma's Famous Detective," which was ranked 15th, and has a boat race scene with Master Yasushi as a mini-game. Some of the titles on this year's list can be played on Nintendo Switch Online, so be sure to take advantage of this opportunity! You can also check out the NES 40th Anniversary Campaign website's list of Nintendo Famicom (NES) software titles, where you can view instruction manuals based on the manuals of the time!

The 44th edition is over, which means the 45th edition has begun. Voting for the 45th "NES Referendum" started on Thursday, May 23, 2024! The theme of this year's poll is "What do you think of the yellow cassette? The theme this time is "What do you think of the yellow cassette? The theme of this year's poll is "What do you think of yellow cassettes? The cassette is inserted into the Famicom (NES) to play, is inserted into the eye while playing, and is removed from the NES when finished, so the image of the cassette is probably burned into your mind's eye. And since "yellow cassettes" come in a variety of colors, you can think of a lot of cassettes that are yellow, too. And they are all masterpieces! I think this is another tough question, but please cast your vote for the title of the "yellow cassette" that you have a special place in your heart for! Once again, you can cast your vote by logging in to your Nintendo account and going to the "NES National Vote" page on the campaign website. If you forget the title of the game, don't worry, you can enter a part of the title and a list of candidates will appear. The voting period for the 45th "NES Reunion Vote" ends on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at 11:59 pm! The results will be announced on May 30, 2024 (Thursday )! I voted for " Obake-no-Q-taro: One-One Panic," which is well-known as a very difficult game! Of course, I was never able to clear the game, so I was also expressing my regrets from those days!
