Gamers all over the world are playing a variety of titles on the Nintendo Switch today, making it no exaggeration to say that it is the most played game console in the world today.
Many game titles have been released on multiple platforms in recent years, including Square Enix's " Triangle Strategy," which is currently a huge hit, and the upcoming " Kirby: Discovery & Quot;quot;," which will be released soon. There are many titles that can only be played on the Nintendo Switch, such as Square Enix's "Triangle Strategy," which is currently a huge hit, and the upcoming "Kirby: Discovery & Quot;," so it is important to have one in the family, or even one per person.
In 2022, "Fire Emblem Warriors: Fuuka Yukigetsu," "Splatoon 3," and "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" sequels are also scheduled to be released, so sales are likely to continue to grow. I think sales will continue to grow.
While software is important for playing games, the functionality and convenience of the hardware itself is also important.
The Nintendo Switch has undergone numerous updates since its release, and is becoming more and more convenient and easy to use, such as the ability to change button assignments on the controller and support for Bluetooth audio.
On Tuesday, March 22, 2022, a new update will finally implement the feature Nintendo Switch users have been waiting for!
Grouping has been added to "All Software"!
Nintendo Switch released on Tuesday, March 22, 2022. System version 14.0.0 The Bluetooth audio volume has been updated, and now the Nintendo Switch HOME menu "All Software" can be grouped!
Previously, up to 12 software icons could be displayed in the Nintendo Switch HOME menu; if 13 or more software icons were displayed, the user would have to go to "All Software" to see them.
The "All software" section displays all software ic ons that have been downloaded, but as the number of icons increases, it becomes less and less easy to see the icons, making it difficult to find the software that you want to launch.
With the new "Groups" feature, you can create your own groups by genre, manufacturer, etc.!
You can create up to 100 groups, and each group can contain up to 200 software titles, so there is plenty of room to create new groups and add software titles to existing groups.
You can create groups by genre, such as "Action," "Puzzle," or "RPG," or by manufacturer, such as "Nintendo," "Sega," or "SNK," or by "Trial Version&" or "Video Game. quot; "Video Service", "Nintendo Switch Online", and so on.
I think it's a good idea to experiment with different ways to make it easier for you, but first you need to know how to do it, right?
Nintendo Switch support has published instructions on how to set this up, and we'd like to share them with you in this article!
How to create a group in "All Software
First of all, you need to update the system version of Nintendo Switch to the latest 14.0.0.
The system version will have been downloaded to the device that is in sleep mode while connected to the network, but just to be sure, go to " HOME Menu → Settings → Main Unit → Main Unit Update " while connected to the network to check the system version.
After the new version is downloaded, reboot the device to reflect the new settings!
After completing the update to system version 14.0.0, check the HOME menu of your Nintendo Switch.
If there are more than 13 software icons, " All software " will appear on the right side of the HOME menu.
If you select "All software", you will be able to see all the software downloaded to the Nintendo Switch, including the software displayed in the HOME menu.
This is the same as before.
After the update, when you select "All software", the " L" group will be added.
You can use the "Group" function by selecting an item or pressing the "L" button.
In the " Groups " section, you will see a brief description of the function and a " Create New" button.
Selecting "Create New" will display the software that has been downloaded to the device and allow you to select the software you wish to register to the group.
Select multiple software to register, and press " Continue " when all selections have been made.
Next, rearrange your selections in the order you would like them to appear in the group.
You can change the order after you create the group, so don't worry about it!
When you are satisfied with the order, select " Continue.
Finally, name your group.
You may want to name it something that is easy to recognize, such as the series name of the grouped titles or the name of the manufacturer.
You can change the group name later, so don't worry too much!
Enter a group name and select " OK "...
You can now create a "group"!
Once you have created a group, the "Create New Group" button will appear in the upper right corner of the screen, and you can select it or click the + button to create additional groups.
In the "Groups" screen, in addition to selecting software from the groups you have created, you can also use the Y button to reorder the groups you have created after creating multiple groups, and the X button to delete an entire group.
When you select a group, " Edit 'R' Group " will appear in the upper right corner, and you can edit the contents of the group by selecting the item or pressing the R button.
You can add or remove software from the group by selecting " Register/Unregister Software " and you can also reorder or rename the software to make it easier for you to use.
In addition to purchased game software, there are many other fun services such as Nintendo Switch Online subscriber-only software, various trial versions, and video services such as "YouTube", "Twitch", and "Abema", etc. With the Nintendo Switch's wide range of services, there are probably not many people who have less than 12 software icons!
The long-awaited "Groups" feature will make your Nintendo Switch life even more comfortable, so update now and try it out for yourself!
