Ps5's first major update! Share play with PS4 and expansion storage storage storage storage of PS5 titles are implemented!

News

It is no exaggeration to say that the next-generation PlayStation " PlayStation 5 " (PS5) has been the most wanted game console in the world since its release in November 2020.
Even if you've been on the fence about it because it's been so hard to get your hands on one, it's probably time to start getting serious about wanting one with the release of various hot titles coming soon. You know, that horror title, or that gaming game with super beautiful graphics.
Recently, it has become easier to win the lottery, or you may have seen it for sale at electronics retailers, so now may be a good time to buy one.
PS5 will be receiving its first major system software update since its release!

It will be available worldwide on April 14!

The first major system software update for PS5 will be available worldwide on Wednesday, April 14, 2021!
The most important part of the update is what it will include, so I'd like to share it with you!

PS5 titles can now be saved to extended storage

Until now, the PS5 could save PS4 titles and media to the connected USB expansion storage, but not PS5 titles.
This is because PS5 is equipped with an ultra-fast SSD and PS5 titles are designed to maximize their performance, but PS5 titles have a large amount of data, so the internal capacity of approximately 1TB was sometimes not enough.
With this update, PS5 titles can now be moved to and stored on connected USB expandable storage devices!
This will be very helpful because no matter how many PS5 titles you purchase, you won't have to delete the data each time.
Although you will be able to save titles, please note that PS5 titles are designed to maximize their performance, so you will need to move the data to the PS5's internal SSD when you play them.
There are requirements for the expansion storage that can be used with PS5, such as SuperSpeed USB 5Gbps or higher, 250GB or more, and 8TB or less capacity, so be sure to check the PlayStation Support page before installing the system.

Share Play is now available on PS4 and PS5.

Share Play " allows players in the same party to share the game screen.
Share Play is a popular way to chat and enjoy games on the same screen, and now you can do it between PS4 and PS5 as well!
This will allow PS5 users to share their PS5 screens in real time with their PS4 prends and let them try out and play with their PS5.
Since PS5 is still hard to come by, we are very happy that PS4 users will be able to experience it.
Of course, you can also share PS4 titles on PS5, or you can give them a virtual controller and have them play on your behalf, or use a second controller for cooperative play, and so on!

You can now request to join a game session!

On PS5 and PS4, game sessions that your friends are playing that you can join will be displayed, and you will be able to "request" them to join.
This saves you the trouble of sending invitations and makes it even easier to play games with your friends.
Privacy settings allow you to change the list of users with whom you can interact in parties, games, and messages, so you can rest assured of your privacy.

Enhanced controls and personalization options

The usability and personalization options in PS5 have been enhanced in a number of areas.
First of all, the game base has been improved to provide quick access to important content and features.
For example, tabs on the vertys and friends screens can now be quickly toggled, allowing you to quickly see which parties you have recently interacted with and which friends are online.
You will also be able to turn notifications on or off for each party you are a part of.

You will be able to quickly disable ingame chat and turn off your own microphone and other players' audio.
You will also be able to adjust the chat audio of other players yourself. It is very helpful to be able to adjust the volume to your own personal level without having to ask for it.

If you have enabled "Auto Update" in the settings, you will be able to download data in advance when there is a game update.
This will automatically download the data while in Rest Mode, so you won't have to wait for an update when you want to play the game.

You will be able to hide games specified in the game library.
Now I can hide the games I don't play and personalize my library for a better looking screen!
Honestly, there are some games that I just downloaded on the flip side anyway, so... that's a big help!

From the settings screen, you can now enlarge the screen to your liking.
With TVs getting bigger and bigger these days, being able to zoom in on the area you want to watch will add to the fun when playing with others.

PS5 has a feature that automatically saves screenshots and video clips when you get a trophy.
With this update, this feature has been powered up! You will be able to choose which grade of trophy you want to save a screenshot or video clip when you earn it.
For example, you can choose to save only Platinum trophies.
You will also be able to view a summary of your trophy achievements.
