- How did you feel when you were chosen to continue playing the role after 10 years since the game version and dubbing?

Koichi Yamadera : "I've been waiting for this! That's all I can say! I had hoped that this would happen because the story was a great work, not to mention the quality of the game.

- After watching the drama version

Koichi Yamadera: When I saw the game, I was surprised that it looked like a live-action movie, but when I saw the drama version, I was surprised that it looked just like the world of the game! I was surprised when I saw the video game, saying "It looks like a live-action movie. I am looking forward to seeing the unique development of the drama while respecting the original work. As of this writing, I have watched up to episode 3, and the "Bill and Frank" episode is just too much! It's the kind of fun that proves that this drama is going to go down in history. I can't help but anticipate Henry and Sam's episode and the ending! If you're into the game, or even if you haven't experienced it yet, I urge you to watch it!

- How did you feel when you were chosen to dub the role after 10 years since the game version?

Megumi Ban : It's like a dream come true to be able to play the role of Ellie again, after 10 years, together with Joel, played by Yamadera-san. It brought back vivid memories of my debut. I was talking with the localizers at the time. "Someday in a movie or drama...! ". In the game, I was the only one recording, so I was very emotional to think that I would have the opportunity to get in front of the microphone for the first time in over 10 years. Now I just have to figure out how to approach the Ellie of that time, the one I play now. I hoped to be close to Bella Ramsey's Ellie.

- After watching the drama version

Megumi Ban: I was amazed at the level of reproduction. The grandeur of the scale and the fine details. While new interpretations and changes were made in the drama, they were fleshed out without sacrificing the good qualities of the game, making it more realistic. Conversations in the game were naturally integrated into the drama. The accessories, clothing, sets, etc. also made me feel connected to the lives and lives of each of the characters. I felt that this work was made by a group of people who truly respect and admire this work. I have seen up to three episodes at this point, and that building is so, so much more....

- How did you feel when you were chosen to dub the role after 10 years since the game version?

Hiroki Takahashi: I am very happy to be back in the world of "The Last of Us". I was surprised to see that 10 years have already passed since the game version. I remember the recording of the game as vividly as if it was yesterday. I was reminded once again that it is such a memorable work for me.

- After watching the drama version

Hiroki Takahashi: The camera angles are the same as in the game version, and I think it will bring a sense of nostalgia to those who knew the game back then. I am very much looking forward to seeing the post-pandemic worldview and the emotional portrayal of the characters, which can only be achieved with live-action images.

Atsuko Tanaka as Tess

- How did you feel when you were chosen to play the role of Tess after 10 years since the game version?

Atsuko Tanaka : "The Last of Us" has been played and supported all over the world, and I was very excited when I heard that the game would finally be dramatized. I am very excited to hear that the game will finally be adapted into a drama, and I am very grateful that the dubbed version will be produced with the same cast as the game. I will do my best to make sure that everyone who has played the game will enjoy the drama as well, and that those who are new to the game will also be pleased with the dubbed version.

- What do you think of the drama version?

Atsuko Tanaka: When I saw the first episode, I was overwhelmed by its grand scale. The contrast between the realistic depiction of the world as it was in the game and the beautiful cityscape before the world collapsed was exquisite, and I was instantly drawn into the drama. Megumi Ban, who plays Ellie, is perfect for Ellie and really cute, and I recorded the scene with a lot of excitement♪

Park Yuumi as Marlene

Park : To be honest, I didn't feel that 10 years had passed. When I was offered the role, I wondered how the world view would be expressed. As someone who was involved in the project, I had high expectations for how the work would be reproduced.

- After watching the drama version

Park Yu-mi: I hope that the audience will digest the work from various angles, such as the overwhelming beauty of the images and the storyline, and immerse themselves fully in the worldview of the work.
