Streamer Headset ATH-M50xSTS-WL Arrives! Delivering Studio-Quality Sound Wirelessly

The ATH-M50xSTS-WL is a streaming headset that pairs the acoustic performance of the ATH-M50x studio monitor headphones—with over three million units sold worldwide—with a high-performance microphone inheriting technology from the AT20 series.
Following the XLR-compatible ATH-M50xSTS and the USB-compatible ATH-M50xSTS-USB, this new model adopts 2.4GHz digital wireless connectivity.

Low-Latency 2.4GHz Digital Wireless Connectivity

Utilizing a 2.4GHz digital wireless transmission resistant to radio interference, the headset minimizes latency.
This prevents audio-video desync and provides a rock-solid, uninterrupted connection during live streaming and gaming broadcasts.

The included dedicated USB transceiver offers a plug-and-play setup simply by plugging it into a PC or gaming console.
Battery life delivers up to approximately 24 hours of continuous transmission, and users can also use the headset via a wired connection while charging with the included USB cable.

Equipped With a Condenser Microphone Featuring Noise Reduction

Inheriting technology from the AT20 series, the microphone features a large-diaphragm cardioid condenser capsule that captures crystal-clear audio with an exceptional signal-to-noise ratio.
The noise reduction feature filters out ambient noise like air conditioners and PC fans, selectable between two intensity levels or turned off using a button on the earcup.

The boom arm keeps the microphone in optimal position near your mouth even as you move your head, and flipping it up mutes the mic instantly.
A built-in sidetone feature also lets you hear your own voice through the headphones, enabling natural conversations as if you were not wearing a headset.

45mm Large-Aperture Drivers Monitor Every In-Game Detail

The headphone section features 45mm large-aperture drivers that reproduce a wide frequency range with deep, accurate bass.
This ensures precise monitoring for faithful original audio as well as the subtlest cues in games.

Two earpad variations are included: breathable mesh HP-M50xSTS earpads and noise-isolating leatherette HP-M50x earpads.
Users can swap them out based on preference or setting, while the foldable design makes the headset easy to pack and carry.

On the official Audio-Technica online store, the headset is priced at 49,500 yen (tax included).
It launches on Friday, October 30, 2026.

Launch Campaign Held on the Official Online Store

The official Audio-Technica online store is currently hosting the ATH-M50xSTS-WL Launch Campaign through Monday, November 9, 2026, at 11:59 PM JST.
Customers who pre-order or purchase the ATH-M50xSTS-WL during this period will receive an exclusive Audio-Technica cleaning cloth.
