Special Fender x Pokémon Guitars! Features of the 2 Models

The World of Pokémon Red and Green Integrated into Guitar Design

These two upcoming models draw inspiration from the 1996 classics Pokémon Red and Pokémon Green.
The bold pixel-art graphics adorning the guitar bodies capture the nostalgic yet fresh aesthetic that defined the era of the original games.

The pickguards also sport a custom design modeled after pixel art.
Featuring a distinctive visual treatment that appears to glow almost fluorescently depending on the viewing angle, they deliver commanding stage presence.

Engraved on the neck plate is a 30th-anniversary pixel logo crafted exclusively for this collaboration.
With an exclusive certificate of authenticity and dedicated hardshell case included, every single detail reflects the premium craftsmanship expected of an anniversary model.

8-Bit Sound System Merges Chiptune Audio With Electric Guitar

A standout highlight of the collection is the 8-Bit Sound System built into both models.
Pushing the volume knob engages the circuit, adding an authentic 8-bit voice on top of standard electric guitar tones!
Merging vintage electronic synth tones reminiscent of original in-game BGM with electric guitar sound, it generates unique textures unlike conventional guitars.

This feature allows players not only to appreciate the Pokémon universe through aesthetics, but also to experience it musically through their own playing.
You can listen to audio samples of the 8-Bit Sound System on the product feature page on the official Pokémon Center website!

Custom Pickups Bring Out Each Guitar's Character

Both models come equipped with custom single-coil pickups developed specifically to complement each instrument's distinct tonal voice.
The red Stratocaster, the Made in Japan Pokémon “Red Version” Stratocaster, features custom-voiced Pokémon “Red Version” Stratocaster Single Coil pickups.
Built with a high-output design, they deliver a robust, punchy core with rich dynamic output.

Meanwhile, the green Telecaster, the Made in Japan Pokémon “Green Version” Telecaster, carries custom Pokémon “Green Version” Telecaster Single Coil pickups.
Delivering balanced output and a well-defined tonal core, they provide the biting top-end clarity signature to the Telecaster, articulating every subtle nuance of the player's technique!

While sharing a cohesive visual identity and the special sound system, each model offers distinct sonic characteristics, allowing players to choose the instrument that best matches their stylistic preferences.

Includes 11 Custom Pokémon Picks and an Exclusive Hardshell Case!

Both models come with a special pick tin housing 11 picks: 10 featuring pixel-art Pokémon designs and one stamped with the Pokémon 30th anniversary logo!
An exclusive hardshell case designed to house the guitar is also included, rounding out a collection immersed in the Pokémon universe from top to bottom.
