Shichijo Ganshundo, a long-established Kyoto confectioner founded in 1865, has released its third batch of Kyoto sweets featuring Pokémon! After an online pre-sale on the official Shichijo Ganshundo website starting Monday, March 25, 2024, store sales will begin on Sunday, March 31, 2024 at the Kyoto Main Store, Kitasenju Marui Store, JR Kyoto Isetan Store, and Fushimi Otesuji Store.
Spring has come to Pokemon Kyoto Confectionery!
Shichijo Ganshundo, founded in 1865, will be releasing Pokemon-themed Kyoto confections! This is the third installment of the "Pokémon Kyo-gashi" lineup, featuring Pokémon associated with spring events in the form of Kami-nagashi, Fuyaki, and Yo-kan.

Pokemon Kami-gashi Spring (4 pieces)
Pikachu, Koyuking, Shaymin (Land form), and Odoridori (Maimai style) are available as josegashi! Kami-gashi are sweets made using traditional Japanese confectionery techniques, and are handmade by Shichijo Ganshundo using high-quality ingredients and water from the Higashiyama mountains in Kyoto.

Pokemon fuyaki spring (3 pieces)
Pikachu, Ponita, and Koiking, as well as scenes and events of Kyoto in spring, are reproduced in this fuyaki. A fuyaki sembe is a sweet sembe that is carefully baked from glutinous rice and has a gentle, melt-in-your-mouth texture. The pictures are hand-drawn by artisans.

Spring is the season for cherry blossoms! A layer of Domyoji on top of a base of kneaded yokan, with Pikachu and Chelim (positive form) made of yokan on top of it.

Pokemon Kamigami Sweets Spring" Lottery Sale
Pokemon Kami-gashi Spring" will be sold at the Kyoto Main Store and Kitasenju Marui Store by lottery in advance. Since the number of sweets made per day is limited, the lottery will be held on three separate days. Winners will be asked to visit either the Kyoto Main Store or the Kitasenju Marui Store to make their purchases.
