The size is as shown. It is about 18.2 x 12.7 x 20.3 cm. It weighs about 1.92 kg, about the same as the Xbox Series S.
The compactness of the Emotn N1 is one of its main selling points, so I feel that it is suddenly showing off its charms. It's also easy to carry around, though maybe not so much... maybe not so much.
On the bottom of the Emotn N1, there are four non-slip surface, a stand that can be moved in and out to set the angle, and a screw hole for a tripod. If the projector is to be placed on a table, it is better to leave the stand out at all times.
This is what it looks like from the front. It has a small body with a large lens, which is cute in a Waddledoo kind of way... right?
The hole at the bottom of the front is an exhaust port. As I will explain later, the temperature of the body does not rise as much as I expected, so the exhaust heat must be working well.

The home screen shows familiar applications such as "Netflix" and "YouTube," as well as "Toon Goggles" and "TikiLIVE," which are unfamiliar to Japanese users.

The remote control looks like this. In addition to the power button and audio mute on/off, you can also start Netflix, Prime Video, and YouTube with a single tap. The center button can be pressed to adjust focus.
The "Emotn N1" has an LED light source, which means that the heat generation is moderate. It has a brightness of 500 ANSI lumens and a light source life of approximately 30,000 hours.
The ToF sensor in the upper left corner of the lens supports focus and trapezium correction. This area in particular may not function properly if it is covered with dust, so wipe it down frequently.
The projector must be placed parallel to the wall or screen or the projected image will be distorted into a trapezoidal shape, but it is not easy to change the layout of the room. The "Emotn N1" has a keystone (trapezoidal correction) function of up to ±20°, which allows for flexibility in placement.

Picture mode setting allows you to change the brightness and color tone of the screen. In addition to presets such as Cinema and Sports, detailed settings can be made by selecting Custom.
Some of the settings are a bit confusing, but "Contrast" is for contrast ratio, "Saturation" is for saturation, and "HUE" is for hue.
The Emotn N1 is equipped with dual 5W speakers, and the volume can be easily adjusted from the remote control...but that's not all! From the audio settings, you can also adjust the balance between bass and treble, and turn surround sound on and off. The sound is so clear to the untrained ear that you can adjust the balance to your liking when using the main unit speakers!

In addition to using the main unit speakers, audio devices can be connected via the 3.5mm earphone jack or Bluetooth 5.0.
The Emotn N1, a lightweight model weighing 1.92 kg, can also be ceiling-suspended. When ceiling-mounted, the unit is upside down, so it must be inverted in the projection mode settings.
It also supports projection from the backside of the screen, although this may not be a common situation since it requires a large space. By taking advantage of these features, it is easy to project the screen onto the ceiling.
The Emotn N1 can project up to 120 inches at 1,920 x 1,080 resolution. The correspondence between the distance to the screen and the projection size is as follows

Compared to the high-end "Mars Pro" model from Dangbei, the "Emotn N1" has differences in brightness and light source method, but the size and weight of the "Emotn N1" are superior to those of the "Mars Pro". The most important thing is that the price is less than one-third that of the "Mars Pro".
Another thing that impressed us when we touched the "Emotn N1" was its quick response time. Although the OS is Linux, I did not feel any stress at all while playing with the settings using the remote control. Even if a TV or projector has various settings and applications, if it is too slow to operate, it will distract the user's motivation, won't it? This is something you have to touch to understand, but it was a good point that I wanted to mention at the end!
