"TicWatch" offers a wide range of products from entry-level to high-end models, and the latest model, the "TicWatch Atlas," was released on Wednesday, October 16, 2024.
We were provided with the latest Wear OS model, the "TicWatch Atlas," for this review, so let's check it out!
Reviewing the latest model, "TicWatch Atlas"!
First, let's look at the outer box!
It's a rectangular box, just like the "TicWatch Pro 5" and "TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro."
The product name in blue looks stylish.
After removing the outer box, we are greeted by the "TicWatch Atlas"!
The bezel and band are a chic black color, giving it a luxurious feel.

Compared to the youth model "TicWatch E3," the "TicWatch Atlas" feels more rugged and luxurious due to the bezel.

I'll press the top right button to turn it on!
When it starts up, "TicWatch" is displayed.
It supports a wide range of languages, and I'll select Japanese while turning the rotating crown.
When you turn the rotating crown, the vibration function also activates, so you can feel it working.
I will install Mobvoi TicHealth and proceed with the pairing settings.

I put the "TicWatch Atlas" on my wrist after setting it up.
The screen is easy to see since the screen size is 1.43 inches.
The weight without the band is also only 47.2g, so I don't feel the weight when I'm wearing it.
You can also change the watch face with a single tap from the connected smartphone, so you can easily match the vibe for different situations.
It supports TicExercise and Mobvoi Running, so it can handle a wide range of activities just like the previous models in the series.
The built-in heat map function allows you to see the most active areas after a workout and measure the time spent, distance, and calories burned!

The "TicWatch Atlas" has a battery capacity of 628mAh, which provides a long battery life of up to 90 hours with normal use.
In Essential Mode, it can last for up to 45 days.
This makes it perfect for mountain climbing and other outdoor activities where you can't easily charge it.

If you select TicBarometer from the app on the main unit, you can measure air pressure and altitude.
When you're mountain climbing, you might wonder how high up you are, but with the "TicWatch Atlas," you can measure it instantly!
You can also use it as a compass with TicCompass!
You need to calibrate it once before using it, so be sure to set it up so you can use it right away!

Of course, the "TicWatch Atlas" is compatible with the YamaReco and YAMAP apps!
If you install the apps from Google Play in advance, you can check maps during a climb without taking out your smartphone.
You'll want to keep both hands free while climbing, and it can be a hassle to take out your smartphone, so you can easily check it on the "TicWatch Atlas" instead!
After using it, you can charge the back of the main unit using the included USB Type-A charging cable.
Since it's magnetic, you just have to stick it on!
It supports ultra-fast charging, so it can charge up to 65% in 30 minutes.
Since the screen is large, you can check the charging status in real time.
