The EMS Experience Set Provision Project, an initiative by the e-motorsports division of FENNEL in collaboration with Open Up Group, prepares an EMS Experience Set (a complete set of simulator equipment) and lends it free of charge for a set period to schools, local governments, companies, and elderly care facilities that apply. In response to the recent distancing from cars trend, the organizations are conducting activities to convey the appeal of cars and the joy of driving to the younger generation through e-motorsports.
The first phase of the EMS Experience Set Provision Project was deployed within the venue of a motorsports event held at Sportsland SUGO in Miyagi Prefecture on Saturday, November 29 and Sunday, November 30, 2025.
At the venue, three authentic simulator units manufactured by Fanatec were installed. Approximately 130 visitors gathered to experience e-motorsports, creating an opportunity for everyone from children to adults to come into contact with the joy of driving and the appeal of motorsports.
Furthermore, Toshiki Oyu (@Oyu_Toshiki0804) made an appearance. Oyu belongs to the FENNEL e-motorsports division and is a driver for TOYOTA GAZOO Racing, active as a dual-role driver in both the real and virtual worlds.
He actually competed against children who visited the booth on the racing simulator! They fought against the professional with serious looks in their eyes, and the venue was filled with excitement.
