Zenless Zone Zero" is an urban fantasy role-playing action game set in a post-apocalyptic world destroyed by a mysterious supernatural disaster called "Hollow" and in a city called "New Erie City" that has the technology to coexist with Hollows.
The protagonist is one of the few "proxies" who are experts in the Hollow, and acts as a guide for the "agents".
In the Hollow, the player controls agents from various camps, all of whom have their own unique personalities.
The battle controls are similar to those of Genshin Impact, with simple controls for normal attacks, evasion, special skills, and closing skills for special attacks, which should be easy to understand and play, especially for travelers who are Genshin Impact users.
Also, if you evade at the right moment, you can perform an evasion counterattack by pressing the attack button.
Also, the enemy has a break value, and when the break value accumulates through sustained attacks and reaches the maximum, the enemy enters a break state and will not move for a certain period of time. This is a mechanism similar to the toughness in Disintegration Star Rails.
What is unique in this work is the linkage skill that can be activated on an enemy in this break state. When activated, the player goes into slow motion, selects a companion to take his place, and activates the Linking Skill while the companion takes his place.
This presentation is also very stylish and cool, and adds a sense of speed to the speedy battles, leading to an exhilarating and pleasurable battle experience.
