Applications for the closed beta test have also been open since Wednesday, September 17, 2025.

The new smartphone roguelite RPG, DQ Smash/Grow, from the "Dragon Quest" series has been announced and is scheduled for a global release in 2026.
Applications for the closed beta test have been open since Wednesday, September 17, 2025.
A teaser trailer for the game has been released with the announcement of the title. DQ Smash/Grow is where Dragon Quest meets intuitive and exhilarating field battles!
In addition to using intuitive controls to unleash Coup de Grâce while smashing hordes of monsters, you can also enjoy different character progression and strategies each time you play by selecting from a random assortment of Blessings.
This is a game where you can experience the unique excitement of a Dragon Quest journey again and again.

Applications for participants have been open since Wednesday, September 17, 2025.
The start time for the beta test will be announced on the official X (@DQSG_EN), and if there are more applicants than participants, they will be chosen by a lottery.
To apply, you must also be a registered member of Square Enix Members (registration is free).
