At a special stage held at the Capcom booth during Tokyo Game Show 2025 (hereafter TGS2025), it was announced that the permanently available event quest, Planetes Protocol (Savage), would become available on Monday, September 29, 2025.
At the same time, details on the collaboration content between Monster Hunter Wilds and Final Fantasy XIV (hereafter FF14) were also released.
Super High-Difficulty Quest: Planetes Protocol (Savage) is Now Permanently Available!
The high-difficulty event quest Planetes Protocol (Savage) will be released as part of the third title update, which launches on Monday, September 29, 2025. This quest is recommended for multiplayer, so be sure to invite your friends and aim to defeat it together.
You can obtain special materials to craft collaboration weapons and armor. Additionally, you will receive a charm and a gesture upon first clearing the quest. This is sure to be welcome news for FF14 fans.

- Acceptance/Participation Conditions: HR 100 or higher
- Clear Condition: Slay the Omega Planetes

- Sword & Shield: Omega's Sword
- Insect Glaive: Omega's Rod (Kinsect: OMG)
The charm and gesture available upon first clear are as follows:

The grand prize winner of the Original Weapon and Pendant Design Contest was announced during the special stage at the Capcom booth at TGS2025.
The grand prize-winning weapon and charm will be implemented in the game.
Implementation is scheduled for the first half of 2026.
