Starting Monday, May 25, 2026, the purchase conditions for the Nintendo Switch 2 (Japanese/Domestic Only) and Nintendo Switch 2 (Multilingual Support) on the My Nintendo Store have changed. The previous purchase conditions included a requirement stating that buyers must have 50 hours or more of Nintendo Switch playtime as of 11:59 PM on Sunday, December 21, 2025, but this condition has been removed following the update.
The updated purchase condition is limited to the following single point:
- One unit each from the two variations, Nintendo Switch 2 (Japanese/Domestic Only) and Nintendo Switch 2 (Multilingual Support), per Nintendo Account
The purchase conditions also account for purchase history from past lottery sales or invitation sales conducted on the My Nintendo Store. It is noted that purchase conditions or the number of purchasable units may change depending on future sales situations.
