You can play a special Emerald Rush where the appearance of costumes and items has been transformed into a Super Mario theme.

You can enjoy the collaboration event across all stages, including DK Island.

This change is purely cosmetic, and the stats or effects of your originally equipped costumes will carry over.

The appearance of the following items that appear during Emerald Rush will change:

| Treasure Chest | ? Block | Randomly appears when breaking terrain. Digging it up grants various items. |
| Tuning Fork | Checkpoint Flag | A checkpoint that serves as a warp destination. |
The sound effects for the items will also match the Super Mario theme.
You will hear familiar sounds, such as the iconic coin sound effect.
BGM Gets a Super Mario Arrangement! Pauline Hums "That Song"
Nintendo Topics (JP)Not only will the Emerald Rush BGM change to a new track with a Super Mario arrangement, but you will also be able to purchase its music record at Squawks's Hut!
Furthermore, once you buy the record, you can listen to the track at your underworld villa or the DJ booth on DK Island.
While it requires a large amount of Banandium Chips to purchase, it will remain available for sale even after the event ends.

The in-game event "Kong Bananza Returns," where you can earn character figures based on your Emerald Rush score, is also live!
In this event, you can play Emerald Rush on designated stages with various randomized elements locked in place.
In "Kong Bananza Returns," you can obtain figures of Tiki Goon and Tiki Tong, who appeared in the 2010 Wii title Donkey Kong Country Returns!
This event runs until Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at 12:59 AM PT, so take on the challenge along with the Mario collaboration!
Donkey Kong Alarm Added to Alarmo!
Nintendo Topics (JP)A Donkey Kong Bananza alarm has arrived on the Nintendo Sound Clock Alarmo, the alarm clock that responds to your body movements!
It can be downloaded for free from the "Add Alarm" option in the main menu.
You can choose from a total of seven alarm variations, including the music that plays during the Bananza transformation and the Emerald Rush BGM. Additionally, if you turn on the Sleep Sounds feature, Pauline will talk to you briefly when you go to bed.
Since the dialogue changes randomly, it is highly recommended to give it a try at bedtime.
If you do not own an Alarmo yet, you can purchase one from the Nintendo Store.
