The first DLC for the dark Sengoku-era action RPG *Nioh 3*, titled " Keian Jigoku-hen," became available on Wednesday, August 19, 2026.
Set in Edo during the Keian era, this DLC adds a new story and two new weapon types: the “Spear Shield” and the “Ninja Spear Shield.”

The protagonist, Takechiyo, now the Shogun, pursues a mysterious supernatural being that appeared in his dream and travels to a near-future Edo—a time just beyond his own—that has once again been engulfed by hell.
Upon learning of a rebel army harboring deep resentment toward the shogunate and the presence of a foreign alchemist lending them his power, Takachiyo sets out to save the future Edo with the help of the one-eyed swordsmanYagyu Jubei and Rodrigo, the envoy from Espanya, to save the future Edo and sets out for the rebel army’s headquarters, “Chang Kong Hall”—but...
