The latest footage of Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess was revealed during CAPCOM NEXT - Summer 2024, which was broadcast on Tuesday, July 2, 2024.
The demo version was also launched on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, ahead of the official release!
To commemorate the demo version's release, a collaboration campaign with Okami is also underway.
What Is Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess
This is a Kagura Action Strategy game that combines action and strategy. Players control the protagonist, Soh, protecting the Maiden Yoshiro from the encroaching aberrations called the Seethe.
There are two phases: Day and Night. During the Day phase, you prepare for the Night phase by exploring the village, changing equipment at the base, and performing other tasks.
To prepare for the Night phase, you can set up formations by considering the Maiden's location, the field's elevation differences, and mechanisms.
In the Night phase, protect Yoshiro by exorcising (defeating) the the Seethe aberrations.
Additionally, cooperating with the villagers is important; this involves the villagers supporting Soh, or Soh commanding the villagers.
As you progress through the game, you will be able to strengthen Soh, which makes the game easier. Therefore, it is advisable to focus on strengthening Soh first.

A Collaboration with "Okami" is Underway! A Present Campaign is Also Being Held!
To commemorate the demo version's release of Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, a collaboration with the masterpiece action-adventure game Okami is currently underway.
By cooperating with players worldwide to complete two missions, you can obtain weapons, costumes, and a special collaboration BGM to strengthen the protagonist, Soh.
Mission 1: Drop 1 Billion Crystals
This mission is completed when players collectively drop a total of 1 billion Crystals, which appear when you exorcise Impurities or the Seethe. Completing the mission will reward you with Amaterasu-themed weapons and costumes that can be used by Soh!
Mission 2: Discover 15 or More Lucky Mallets
By taking a photo of the Lucky Mallets hidden within the demo version and replying to the relevant post on the official X (@Kunitsu_Gami), you are submitting it as a discovery. The mission is completed when the community makes 15 or more discoveries.
Achieving the mission will earn you Ushiwaka-themed costumes and collaboration BGM that can be used by Yoshiro.
