Starting on April 24, 2024 (Wednesday ), "Eikan Cross" will be collaborating with Daisuke Matsuzaka, a former professional baseball player. The game will bring back to life the legendary high school baseball player who was feared as the monster of the Heisei era and became the second player in 59 years to achieve a no-hit, no-run game in the final of the summer Koshien (the National High School Baseball Championships).

A special video featuring Daisuke Matsuzaka and Satoshi Ueshige has been released on the YouTube channel " Daisuke Matsuzaka official YouTube ". Satoshi Ueshige was an ace pitcher for PL Gakuen in high school. In the 1998 summer Koshien semifinals, he faced Yokohama High School in a heated 17 inning extra inning game.

They became closer through representing Japan in high school, and even after Satoshi Ueshige became an announcer, they have been in frequent contact in their private lives. In this collaborative video, the two look back on their baseball team and talk about ideal team building and tactics as a baseball coach while playing "Power Pro Eikon Cross.
