On Saturday, January 18, 2025, a new eSports event for PS5 users, PlayStation Tournaments: XP, will take place. This face-to-face competition will be held for the first time at the Royal Horticultural Halls in London and is a major event that will attract top players and fans from all over the world.
What is "PlayStation Tournaments: XP"?
PlayStation Tournaments: XP" is a team-based event where players who have passed the online qualifying rounds will compete in person in London.
Participants are divided into four teams (Triangle, Circle, Cross, and Square) and earn XP (points) through game play. The top two teams will compete in the finals for the title of the first champion.
Eligible Titles
The following titles will compete in the tournament
- "Tekken 8" (Tekken 8)
- "EA SPORTS FC 25"
- "Fortnite" (qualifying begins December 6, 2024)
- "Astrobot" (qualifying begins December 13, 2024)
Win the qualifiers and go to London!
Participate in the " PlayStation Tournaments Open Qualifier " on PS5 and compete your skills.
Winning the regional online closed finals will qualify you for London.
Airfare and accommodation will be provided, and you will be able to participate in the live event as part of the team PS5 Dreams!
How to participate in the event?
To register for the qualifiers, go to the " PlayStation Tournaments menu " on PS5. Once you qualify, you will advance to the regional closed finals and compete for a chance to go to London.
The event will be live-streamed on Twitch and YouTube, allowing viewers everywhere to cheer in real time!

Viewer Participation Project
