The story of this game depicts the survival of the protagonist, Ethan Winters, and adopts a unique first-person perspective called "Isolated View," focusing on terror.

The main game sales price is 1,990 yen (tax included), and the sales price for the DLC "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard Gold Edition Upgrade" is 2,000 yen (tax included).
