Bandai Namco Entertainment has released the Season 3 Trailer for TEKKEN 8, officially revealing three new playable characters: Kunimitsu, Bob, and Roger Jr.
Alongside the trailer, the company also shared the Season 3 roadmap and details on the game’s 2nd anniversary campaign.

The TEKKEN 8 Season 3 Trailer is now live!
It confirms the arrival of three additional playable characters: Kunimitsu, Bob, and Roger Jr.
Further details on each character, including gameplay trailers and individual release schedules, will be announced at a later date.
Season 3 Pass
The Season 3 Pass, which lets players purchase upcoming characters and a new stage at a discounted price, will go on sale starting Tuesday, February 10, 2026.
Compared to the Season 1 and Season 2 passes, the early access period has been extended—granting players access to new characters and stages 120 hours earlier.
In addition, purchasers will receive the Season 3 Pass–exclusive customization item, the Aurora Arrange Pack, which can be equipped by all characters, including DLC fighters.

‘TEKKEN 8’ Season 3 roadmap
The full Season 3 roadmap for TEKKEN 8 has been revealed.
Content updates will roll out from winter 2026 through winter 2027.

- From May 1, 2026: Competitive season officially begins

Details for Update Ver.3.00, scheduled for release on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, have also been announced.
- Battle balance adjustments and the launch of the TEKKEN Dev Feedback Portal (Beta)
- Online rank reset and matchmaking logic improvements
- Multiple new features and quality-of-life improvements
- New items and sales for the TEKKEN FIGHT PASS and TEKKEN SHOP
Further updates centered around downloadable content are planned beyond spring 2026.
‘TEKKEN World Tour 2026’ officially announced
The global tournament series TEKKEN World Tour 2026, which crowns the annual world champion through official events held worldwide, has been confirmed!
The tour kicks off with EVO Japan 2026, taking place in Tokyo from May 1 to May 3, 2026, and will continue through November 2026.

‘TEKKEN 8’ 2nd Anniversary Campaign announced
From February 10 to March 16, 2026, a 2nd Anniversary Campaign will be held in-game over five consecutive weeks.
During the event, players can receive the Fan Art Collection Season 1 & 2 Set and the 2nd Anniversary Player Customization Item Packs Vol.1–4.
The Fan Art Collection Season 1 & 2 Set includes previously released fan art character panels, plus newly added illustrations for Clive and the four characters released during Season 2.
It will be available for free in the TEKKEN SHOP after maintenance on February 10, 2026.
The 2nd Anniversary Player Customization Item Packs Vol.1–4 feature anniversary-themed customization items for all characters released up through Season 2 (excluding Clive).
From Week 2 to Week 5 (February 17 – March 16, 2026), each pack will rotate weekly and can be claimed for free during its respective period.
