Assassin's Creed Shadows, the latest in the series set in Japan, will be released on November 15! Depicting the Azuchi-Momoyama period

Ubisoft Corporation released the world premiere trailer on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at 1:00 a.m. Japan time. Assassin's Creed Shadows ", the latest title in the Assassin's Creed series. The new action adventure is set in Azuchi-Momoyama period Japan.

Assassin's Creed Shadows, the latest title in the series being developed by Ubisoft Québec, the studio behind Assassin's Creed Odyssey, will be released on Friday, November 15, 2024! Set in the Azuchi-Momoyama period of 16th century Japan, new forces and scheming aliens lead the war-torn world into further chaos.

The protagonists of this title are Naoe, a ninja and assassin from Iga, and Yasuke, a powerful samurai who actually existed. Through their intersecting stories, players will meet important historical figures and usher in a new era in Japan.

Assassin's Creed Shadows" allows players to explore a vast open world where the landscape changes with the weather and seasons. The world has different faces, such as a castle town where people come and go, a bustling port, and a solemn shrine.

In this era of constant change, information is vital. Players use a revamped search system to build a network of clandestine intelligence, explore new areas, and track down targets.

Players can gather companions with specialized skills and abilities, or train those they have gathered in hideouts. Hideouts also offer elements to customize their architecture, layout, and decorations.

"Assassin's Creed Shadows" is scheduled for release on Friday, November 15, 2024. The game will be available in Gold, Ultimate, and Collector's Editions, with the bonus quest "Three Years of Gratitude" as an early purchase bonus.
