Xbox and Kojima Productions have announced that they are expanding their partnership to publish " PHYSINT "!
They also stated that they plan to build relationships in the film and television industries, in addition to the gaming sector.

Xbox and Kojima Productions Form Partnership for "PHYSINT"!

Hideo Kojima, founder of Kojima Productions, detailed the background of this expanded partnership on his official X account ( @Kojima_Hideo ).
According to Kojima, in mid-June 2026, Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) suddenly notified them that the "PHYSINT" project was being canceled, putting the project’s future in jeopardy.
He explained that after spending the next three months searching for a new partner, this led to the current partnership with Xbox.
