"Sonic × Shadow Generations" Launches June 5 Alongside Switch 2! Pre-orders Now Open

It has been announced that the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Sega's popular action game "Sonic × Shadow Generations" will be released on Thursday, June 5, 2025.
This title is a culmination of high-speed action adventure, where Classic Sonic, Modern Sonic, and Shadow the Hedgehog each dash through with their distinct appeal.

This title is a collection that includes the masterpiece "Sonic Generations" and "Shadow Generations," where Shadow is the protagonist.
The Nintendo Switch 2 version has significantly powered up the visuals, allowing you to experience Sonic and friends' sense of speed with unprecedented expression.

Note that upgrading from the Nintendo Switch version to the Nintendo Switch 2 version is not supported, but saved data can be carried over from the Switch version to the Switch 2 version.
Also, a limited pack distribution tied to the movie "Sonic × Shadow TOKYO MISSION" is scheduled to start simultaneously with the release date.

Furthermore, pre-orders for the Digital Edition, Physical Edition (Key Card), and Digital Deluxe Edition, which includes bonus content, started from Thursday, April 24, 2025.
The Physical Edition comes in a download format using a card and requires over 24GB of free space and an internet connection to start playing.
