Following in the footsteps of Kirby series staples like Kirby and King Dedede, this amiibo features none other than Chef Kawasaki.
Masahiro Sakurai ( @Sora_Sakurai ), director of "Kirby's Air Rider," even left a comment expressing his surprise at this development.
However, since Chef Kawasaki is a character with quite a few die-hard fans, there are surely those who have been eagerly awaiting this day.

Also, the amiibo for the “Hopstar” —the Air Ride machine that Cock Kawasaki rides— allows you to move the nozzles just like in the game.

To coincide with the release of the amiibo, the in-game event “Spicy! Chef Kawasaki’s Army ” will be held from 12:00 PM on Thursday, September 10, 2026, through 12:00 PM on Tuesday, September 15.

In particular, I couldn’t help but laugh at the dynamic thumbnails featuring a massive number of Cook Kawasakis—so full of energy that it almost felt like I could hear the voice of Nobuo Tobita, who voiced Cook Kawasaki in the TV anime "Kirby of the Stars," even though they’re supposed to be still images.
As for the event participation rewards, you can obtain licensed assets, nicknames, stickers, and more.
This time, the rewards include the main menu icon and licensed stickers available through the “Chef Kawasaki & Hopstar” amiibo.
