ROG's first low-profile, 65% gaming keyboard with tri-mode connectivity, the ROG Falchion RX Low Profile, will be available on Friday, March 8, 2024! It features the new "ROG RX Low-Profile switches".
The "ROG RX Low-Profile Switch" uses light as a trigger to shorten the actuation point and travel distance, allowing for a quicker response than other players. Combined with two layers of silicone foam, the ROG RX Low-Profile Switch provides a keystroke feel not found in previous products.
A multi-function switch andtouch panel on the back of the unit allow intuitive control of LED lighting, volume control, and other functions. The WASD can be set quickly and easily with a slight movement of the hand on the WASD.
The USB Type-C connection supports tri-mode connectivity for wired use and battery charging, while 2.4GHz RF and Bluetooth connectivity using a USB dongle is available when needed. Teleworkers sometimes switch back and forth between desktop and laptop computers, so it's helpful to have multiple options.
The ROG Falchion RX Low Profile is quite small at 306mm x 26.5mm x 110mm. It is a 65% keyboard that incorporates arrow keys and navigation keys in a size equivalent to a 60% layout. It is compatible with Windows 11, but is also compatible with Mac OS since the Windows key replaces the option key and the Alt key replaces the command key.
