Square Enix has officially launched service for the Nintendo Switch 2 version of FINAL FANTASY XIV.
To celebrate the launch, the Complete Pack is on sale for 30% OFF.
For approximately one month following release, service subscription fees will be free.

Nintendo Switch 2 Version of FINAL FANTASY XIV Service Launches!

Service for the Nintendo Switch 2 version of FINAL FANTASY XIV has officially begun!
This title is the 14th main installment in the FINAL FANTASY series.
Set in a vast online world, it is an RPG offering diverse playstyles, from embarking on solo adventures to building a home and relaxing with friends.

Square Enix sells the Nintendo Switch 2 version of FINAL FANTASY XIV exclusively as a digital download on the Nintendo Store.
To commemorate the release, the Complete Pack is on sale for 30% OFF until Wednesday, August 12, 2026 at 11:59 PM.

• FINAL FANTASY XIV Complete Pack: 4,466 yen (tax included)
• FINAL FANTASY XIV Complete Pack Collector's Edition: 10,472 yen (tax included)

To play, players require a Nintendo Account and a Square Enix Account.
After linking a Nintendo Account to a User profile on the Nintendo Switch 2 console, purchase the product and sign into your Square Enix Account during initial startup to link them.
Please note that once linked, accounts cannot be unlinked or changed to a different account.

If you are a Nintendo Switch Online subscriber, you can register one Aetheryte of your choice in-game as a Favorite (Free).
Teleporting to the registered Aetheryte costs zero Gil.
Note that this perk is only active while logged in on a Nintendo Switch 2.

Service Subscription Fee Free for Approx. 1 Month Following Release

To ensure server stability, service subscription fees will be free for approximately one month following release.
After that, the 30-day free trial period included with the product begins, and subscription fees will apply once the free trial ends.

Even if you already play FINAL FANTASY XIV on other platforms, you need a separate service subscription for the Nintendo Switch 2 version.
However, if you have active game time remaining on another platform, the subscription fee for the Nintendo Switch 2 version will be half-price.
Note that playing does not require a Nintendo Switch Online subscription.
