ASUS' gaming brand Republic of Gamers ( "ROG") has developed a variety of products for all gamers who are hungry to win. It has released not only gaming PCs, but also monitors, keyboards, mice, routers, smartphones, and many other devices. ROG has announced its first e-sports collection " ACE SERIES "! Here is a report from the launch event held at Red Bull Gaming Sphere Tokyo!
We sneak into the launch of "ACE SERIES" in Japan!
The launch of ROG's new e-sports collection "ACE SERIES" took place at the Red Bull Gaming Sphere Tokyo gaming space in Nakano, Tokyo. Since its opening in February 2018 as the first Red Bull gaming space in Asia, it has played an active role in various events. In December 2022, ASUS provided 30 gaming monitors for the event.
New from ROG x Aim Lab!
The first two products announced were the "ROG Harpe Ace Aim Lab Edition" gaming mouse and the "ROG Hone Ace Aim Lab Edition" gaming mouse pad.
ROG approached Aim Lab with the goal of creating a device that "fits in the player's hand and feels like their own hand. Aim Lab is a training and coaching platform created by neuroscientists.
The crossover was made possible by the belief that combining ROG's devices with Aim Lab's software would enable players to further improve their performance.
ROG Harpe Ace Aim Lab Edition
The ROG Harpe Ace Aim Lab Edition is a symmetrical gaming mouse with an ultra-lightweight design that weighs just 54 grams without cutting any meat.
The familiar ROG AimPoint optical sensor supports 100 to 36,000 dpi. The ROG Chakram X and ROG Keris Wireless AimPoint are also equipped with this sensor.
Connectivity options include 2.4Ghz wireless, Bluetooth, and wired USB. For 2.4Ghz wireless connections, the USB dongle can be placed closer to the mouse using the included dongle extender. Unwanted noise is minimized to win.
The most unique feature is the "Aim Lab Settings Optimizer" function. After completing the "ROG Harpe Ace Aim Lab Edition" task from the Aim Lab software, the software analyzes the player's habits and suggests the most appropriate mouse settings. DPI, Angle Tuning, and Liftoff Distance can also be applied directly upon completion of the Aim Lab task.
Playing Aim Lab on a stage with the ROG logo! DPI adjustment takes about 10 minutes, angle tuning takes about 5 minutes, and lift-off distance takes about 3 minutes.
Please refer to the "ROG Harpe Ace Aim Lab Edition" product page for detailed specifications.
ROG Hone Ace Aim Lab Edition
ROG Hone Ace Aim Lab Edition" is a gaming mouse pad made of hybrid cloth with nano coding.
The "ROG Hone Ace Aim Lab Edition" is designed with memory in centimeter increments. The "Aim Lab X ROG 360 Task" allows users to train with the "Aim Lab X ROG 360 Task" to quantify and adjust their wrist and arm movements to improve their aim technique.
The mousepad also features the Aim Lab in the upper right corner.

Two New Gaming Keyboards!
Next up are two new gaming keyboards, the "ROG Falchion Ace" and the "ROG Azoth".
ROG Falchion Ace
The ROG Falchion Ace is a compact 65% gaming keyboard. It is available in two colors, black and white.
Especially in FPS and TPS where you often use a mouse, you want to save physical space on your desk. "ROG Falchion Ace" is a 65% keyboard that includes arrow keys and navigation keys to allow for a full range of mouse movement.
A cover case protects the keyboard when carrying it around. It is very helpful to wear the case when going out or sleeping to protect it from dust.
Two USB Type-C ports are provided, which can be instantly switched from the switch on the back. This is very convenient for 2-PC distribution, etc.
For detailed specifications, please refer to the ROG Falchion Ace product page.
ROG Azoth
The ROG Azoth is a 75% wireless custom gaming keyboard that is perfect for beginners who want to build their own keyboard.
The ROG Azoth features an OLED display and three layers of silent dampers, but what stands out most is the hot-swappable switches and included DIY switch rub kit. This is the first ROG keyboard designed for customization.
The hot-swappable switches can be customized as desired. In addition, a set of tools to DIY switch lubes is included.
The lubricant is Krytox GPL 205 Grade 0. It comes in an original bottle with the ROG logo design.
For detailed specifications, please refer to the "ROG Azoth" product page.
Stay tuned for more developments!
At the event, we were able to touch and feel ROG products, including those introduced here. The author is impressed by the WQHD360Hz of the "ROG Swift 360Hz PG27AQN". I still use 144Hz at home.
The back of the monitor looks cool. You can't see it while playing.
Buttons on gaming monitors are often designed on the back due to the bezel. However, the ROG Swift 360Hz PG27AQN has a navigation joystick that allows for intuitive settings.
This is the ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM, a 27-inch WQHD OLED gaming monitor. It has a high refresh rate of 240Hz and a superb response time of 0.03ms.
Gaming monitors tend to glow from the back, but the "ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM" glows not only from the back, but also right below the stand. This is what I've been waiting for!
The "ACE SERIES" Japan launch event ended like this! Since the venue was the Red Bull Gaming Sphere Tokyo, I was able to do some hard work after returning to the editorial office with the Red Bull in hand.
ASUS has already announced a 540Hz gaming monitor, the ROG Swift Pro PG248QP, in January 2023. Although it has not yet been announced in Japan, let's contribute to ROG by purchasing the new product announced this time with the expectation that it will eventually be released in the near future!
