The grand prize in the game software category went to "Choo Choo Pancakes" by Team CCM of Kyushu Sangyo University!
The judge, Akihiro Hino, commented, "The game was a cohesive piece of work, even though it lacked in some areas. The most important thing is that the team had a lot of fun making the game, which is something we professionals can learn from. " he commented. The CCM members received a certificate, trophy, and 300,000 yen as a supplementary prize.
Game Planning Division "Time to the Xmas"
The Excellence Award in the Game Planning Division went to "Time to the Xmas" by Shun'ei Miyai of ECC Computer College.
Game Graphic Art Division "ChronoCrash The Battle Against Death
The Excellence Award in the Game Graphic Art Division went to "ChronoCrash The Battle Against Death" by Ishizuki Tokuda of HAL Tokyo.
The Excellence Award in the newly established AI Graphic Art Division went to "None". The relationship between game production and AI is sure to become increasingly important in the future. It is likely that there will be an increase in demand for human resources who can master AI.
