Plans to hold lower classes in which non-professionals can also compete
As mentioned above, the drivers who will compete will be top gamers and professional racing drivers who belong to professional racing teams.
Top gamers will be recognized as " JeGT Certified Drivers " who have passed the "JeGT Drivers Selection ( JDS)" and have objectively proven that they have advanced skills.
As of the end of September 2020, there are 19 certified drivers, and the company plans to increase the number of certified drivers by holding JDS online in the future.
There are also plans to develop a lower class of " JeGT CHALLENGERS " in which players who are not JeGT-certified drivers or professional racing drivers can compete.
The "JeGT CHALLENGERS" will be held with some restrictions, such as for those over 70 years old and for women only, and will be positioned as a gateway to becoming a JeGT certified driver.
If you are confident in your skills, why don't you give it a try when the "JeGT CHALLENGERS" is held?
Yuu-chan, the car enthusiast of the Saiga NAK editorial department, is also dreaming of competing in the event, and is working day and night on his skills in Gran Turismo SPORT.
