Renaissance High School Group Programming Course Scheduled to Open in June
Renaissance High School Group Official WebsiteThe Renaissance High School Group, operated by Broadmedia Corporation, is a wide-area correspondence and credit-based high school where students can learn through e-learning.
In 2018, it opened the first e-sports course by a high school in Japan at Renaissance Osaka High School.
It has been achieving results, such as being named a top contender for victory during major tournaments like the All Japan High School eSports Championship and the high school e-sports tournament STAGE:0.

The Renaissance High School Group has announced the opening of a Programming Course (Double School Course) in partnership with Tech Camp High School Academy, which is newly scheduled to open in June 2024.
To acquire professional-level IT engineering skills and the basic education required by society, students can focus on learning six contents, as follows:
- Communicative English
- Information Technology Fundamentals
- Programming
- Original App Development
- Various Technology Skills
- Career/Job Hunting
It is an online learning format 2 to 3 days a week, and the basic flow consists of 50 minutes of self-study and 10 minutes of team output.

The appeal lies in a wide learning range that covers everything from the basic knowledge of the compulsory high school subject Information I to the latest topics like generative AI and machine learning, while also acquiring the English skills necessary for communication.
Learning with peers through daily group work and events such as app development contests and online club activities seems likely to have the effect of maintaining motivation.

Community managers (tutors) hold homeroom sessions in the morning and evening.
They support learning by managing progress and conducting individual interviews with students.
Tech Camp High School Academy, where the Programming Course (Double School Course) will be opened, is scheduled to be established in June 2024.
The official website is scheduled to open in late April 2024, so if you are interested, please request materials from the Broadmedia official website.
