Nintendo announced that it will regularly hold in-game events starting this month for "DK Island & Emerald Rush," the paid downloadable content for the Nintendo Switch 2 software "Donkey Kong Bananza."
The first event, "Chip Fever," will be held for one week from October 28 at 01:00 a.m. PT to November 3 at 11:59 p.m. PT.
First In-Game Event to Be Held in "Donkey Kong Bananza: DK Island & Emerald Rush"!
The regular holding of in-game events has been announced for "DK Island & Emerald Rush," the paid downloadable content for "Donkey Kong Bananza"!
The first event, "Chip Fever," will be held for one week from October 28 at 01:00 a.m. PT to November 3 at 11:59 p.m. PT.
During this period, you can play a special Emerald Rush on designated stages where the following random elements are fixed:
- The skills assigned to Banandium are fixed
- The Emerald Perks obtainable from Banandiums and fossils are fixed
- The order of Void Kong Mission questions is fixed
The stage for this event is Donkey Kong's hometown, DK Island.
As the name "Chip Fever" suggests, many chip-related Emerald Perks appear, such as making it easier to earn Emeralds based on the number of chips you possess, and multiplying the number of chips you possess by 1.5.
You can get event-limited character figures based on your Emerald Rush score.
This time, Kong Bananza and Enguarde, who are also familiar from the Super Donkey Kong series, will appear.
Since the random elements are removed, it becomes easier to aim for a high score the more you play.
The second event is scheduled to be held in 2025, and details will be announced separately.
